It is not the first time the striker has faced an issue in the run-up to the Brazil World Cup final against Argentina.
“I know the emotions and it’s a good, big tournament and I want to give everything I have,” Steelo said.
“But it is not good for me and I know that.”
In the wake of the defeat to Argentina, the 27-year-old expressed his frustration at not being able to make his way to the pitch.
“There are things you do not do,” he said.
He also took issue with the fact that his fellow countrymen would be playing with a squad that has already lost four of their last five matches.
“The players have done so well and I do not want to see any of them fail,” Steela said.
“This is not my moment. “
It is important to give my all and make sure the team can achieve its objectives. “
This is not my moment.
We have to be ready to play the World Cup and be ready.”
